Connection Profile Configuration - Google Cloud Storage
Google Cloud Storage is an online file storage web service for storing and accessing data on Google Cloud Platform infrastructure. This service uses the concept of a container called a "bucket" to store data.
Note: For more information on Google Cloud Storage, please see the Google Cloud Documentation.
A Google Cloud Storage Connection Profile allows you to connect to the Google Cloud Platform to export data from Loyalty or to import data into Loyalty.
This Connection Profile type includes the following properties:
-
Label: Enter the display name of the Connection Profile.
-
Internal Name: Enter the internal system name of the Connection Profile. This field is uneditable by default. To edit the Internal Name, check Edit Internal Name. A confirmation dialog box is displayed; click Ok. Edit the Internal Name value.
-
Private Key File: Select an Encryption Key.
Note: Loyalty supports the use of SSH2 (Secure Shell protocol version 2) for importing and exporting data. To use SSH2, you must create an Encryption Key that uses "RSA Private Key" as the encryption type, then assign that Encryption Key to a Google Cloud Storage Connection Profile as described above.
-
Bucket: Enter the name of the Google Cloud Storage Bucket.
